On Sunday, some armed men razed a Police Station at Mkpatak in the Essien Udim Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.
It was reported that two police officers and 12 cows were killed around 5 pm on Sunday.
The attacks came 24 hours after five policemen and a police officer’s wife were killed in an attack on the Idoro Ikpe police station in Ini local government area on Saturday.
A source told our reporter in Uyo that the policemen were killed in Ukana Ikot Ntuen while the cows were killed at different locations in the same local government.
According to the source, one of the policemen was burnt inside his car while the other on a motorcycle was shot by the gunmen.
It was also gathered that there was another attack on a police station in the Abak LGA area of the state.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, Odiko Macdon, who confirmed the attacks, however, said had is yet to get an official report.
He said the command had demanded an update concerning the attack.
The Commissioner of Police, Andrew Amiengheme, has ordered the deployment of the tactical team to the affected areas.
